Tried to start the program just to se how it looked. But that did not work. I got this fault message:

Run-time error'339':

Component 'gif89.dll' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

I have installed it on a computer with Windows 7
It says here in your blog it would work with 7, however att the download sight it is not mensioned:
"Using the software is child's play. PC INSPECTOR™ smart recovery runs on all Win 9x, ME, NT 4.0, XP and Windows™ 2000 systems"
Is that whats wrong?
(I also have another computer with Win 8.1 - might work better?)

I did rightclick and run as admin

I gather that you need to formate and use a cardreader with the program to even make it work!?

Your video helped me earlier however that time only my camera did not recognize the card suddenly, but my PC could read it :) For this I'm greatful.

Could you recomend what other program could be of best help to me in this case?
I read about the CardRecovery program mentioned - will it work in my case - I gladly pay for it. Might need it again - the photos is from a recent journey to Turkey, I would be sad not to be able to recover them.

Thanx for a place to find answers to our problems // Pim :)Pimnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-438678654059813712.post-68262511400633390902015-05-13T10:11:24.040-07:002015-05-13T10:11:24.040-07:00Photorec saved me after I thought I'd lost 100...Photorec saved me after I thought I'd lost 1000 pics from a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Japan. So it depends on if the card reader on your computer is recently made (made after SDHC format came out). But if your computer is more than a few years old (such as Windows XP or older) then it's unlikely that its card reader will be able to recognize an SDHC card.
